I won't miss you...or em, maybe I will, but not for long!!! Last week I started thinking seriously about my weight loss plan, so I had my last Starbucks stop. I then proceeded to eat out a few times, not making the best choices. Okay, then I got 6 inches cut off my hair, thinking that might help me feel thinner. No luck, in fact the weight stands out more now! I do love the light feeling of short hair though! Now, tonight..yes tonight I recomitted. I will start as soon as I finish this latte sitting in front of me. I am serious. It wasn't long ago that I was 45 lbs. lighter than I am today, after working really hard to lose it. Then, after going through a surgery, and ending up in pain for months on end, I was practically bedridden. The weight began to pile back on. Then I started eating a few not so good for me treats, which made me hunger for more, and I spiraled out of control. Since it wasn't long ago that I was much lighter, I remember how it felt, and it is true, that it felt so much better than anything tastes, even better than this mouthwatering, sweet, delicious green tea latte (okay, I confess, and the chocolate biscotti) sitting in front of me. So, I will keep you all posted, as I slowly, but steadily melt away. (Starting tomorrow).

I really need to lose weight as well. I found once I hit my mid 30's...it just went on so easy and STAYS. ugh! Best of luck to you and please share any things you find helpful to you.
Have a great day!!
Ugh, I need to write this post. I weigh almost as much as I did right before giving birth to Gabriel! Yikes! I'm praying for desire and motivation right now...
Best wishes on your journey!! I am finding it harder and harder to loose the weight as I get older, some days chocolate wins, somedays a walk does, just remember that even if you give in to temptation one day, you always get another chance tomorrow!!
hi! you visited my blog back in January... thought I'd check in... what a lovely family you have. I'm in a weight loss journey myself... Blessings to you... ~ kim
Oh Michelle! I need to lose about 50 pounds myself :o( I simply eat too much. I eat because it's Monday morning and I eat because it happens to be Thursday afternoon. I eat when it's raining and then again when the weather is gorgeous. I eat when I'm happy and then when I am sad. Boy I sure didn't not that I was going to wax so eloquent on this subject. I have been trying to surrender my passion for food to God. I am trying to eat only when I'm hungry and then not over eat. He has really helped me.
Take care girl!
oh! congratulations on re-committing yourself. It's not easy, but so worth it. I've just lost 9 pounds and it's amazing how much better I feel with just that little bit gone.
One thing that has helped ALOT (besides Weight Watchers) is doing whole wheat (grinding my own wheat, not just buying it in the store)...I can still make pancakes and waffles and cookies -just with the fresh wheat I grind. Of course I can't overindulge either, but it makes it fun to "splurge" without really feeling guilty!
Good luck on your weight loss journey! I need to lose some myself. It's very hard, I know! Have a great weekend!
YOu can do it! YOu have done it before! I'm trying to lose 8 more at least. I'm kissing those sweetie things goodbye too!
So you say fall is a great time to travel huh? Just curious what was the weather like then??
I'm thinking (as is our agency) that if we get our referral in August we would travel mid-September. I feel frustrated in that it is the beginning of the school year and I don't want the boys to get a bad start, but I can't mess with timing right?
I have got to get busy about losing weight too. 20 pounds. If I could lose 20 pounds I would be so happy.
