Patience!!!

Dear God,
Please bless me with more patience!!! This sweet little one is requiring this of me today. Help!! I don't have all she needs. I need your assistance in this, Lord! Amen!
Miss Lily has not been feeling well. She seems to be coming down with one cold just as she is kicking another. This latest one left her with a bad cough. Today the cough seems to be at bay, but I now have a little girl who is glued to her mama. She will not let go of me without going into a screaming fit. She has literally been attached to me all day. I seriously thought about taking my hip carrier out again. She just wants to lay on me. If I try to put her down, she whines and begins to cry. I got a phone call earlier, and tried to set her down, and she wouldn't have it. I finally had to, and she lost it. She just wants to lay her head down on my shoulder, and rest. She just doesn't want to let go. She won't do anything with her sister. She only wants me to hold her. She is very sleepy too. Poor baby.
It is a beautiful fall day here, the sun is shining and I hear my DH pulling up (Thank-you Jesus! He does answer prayer!). I think I will hand little one off to him and go for a walk, I'll have more patience when I get back, rejuvenated and refreshed!
Brightest Blessings!!

Abbie, our youngest, had reflux the first several months she was home. I called her "Velcro Baby"! I know exactly where you are right now! Praying for patience and rest for you and good health for Lily...

Look at that cute girl in that cute shirt! I know exactly what you are talking about. Eli has a cold that is giving him a lot of congestion and he wants to be with me cuddling and he is sleeping with us at night.
It's so hard when they are sick.

Now matter how cute they are...they have their bad day, too. Hope you got a well deserved break when your hubby got home. I know I feel that way sometimes and can't wait to hand the boys over when mine gets home.

Oh, I hope she is feeling better soon!! My Ella turns into a bear when she is sick and I know how tiring it can be! Hang in there!

Sorry to hear you had a tough day. I hope your little beauty is feeling better. (And Mama, too!) I do exactly as you do on those days, pray for strength and patience, because I don't have enough to do it on my own!

I hope you got that much deserved walk!

Oh, I think I know how you feel right now. Can you just take a break and read a book while your baby needs some cuddles?

By the way, I'm back. Come check me out!

Hi Michelle,
It's sounds like our days were a like. Kyle wasn't feeling well either. It was not one of our better days. I'll pray for perfect health in the days to come. I'm so glad I found your blog. Look for an email from me here in a couple of days about Country club. Dawn
